LogiqGame ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is developed and operated by an individual developer based in France. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application LogiqGame, available on Google Play.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Who We Are

The App is operated by an individual developer (sole operator) based in France, subject to French law and European Union regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information We Collect Directly

We do not require you to create an account. The App automatically generates a random anonymous identifier (UUID) stored locally on your device. This identifier is never linked to your name, email address, or any personal identity.

Stored locally on your device only:

Your game progress, puzzle states, and statistics
Coin balance and hint usage
Supporter/Lifetime subscription status
Anonymous UUID (randomly generated, never transmitted to our servers)

We do not operate any servers. All game data stays on your device.

3.2 Information Collected by Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (Advertising)

AdMob, operated by Google LLC, displays advertisements in the App. AdMob may collect:

Advertising ID (Google's resettable device identifier)
IP address (used to serve region-appropriate ads)
Device information (model, OS version)
Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)

AdMob's data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Ads are not shown to users who have purchased the Supporter subscription or Lifetime Access.

RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

RevenueCat processes in-app purchase and subscription data to verify entitlements. RevenueCat may collect:

Anonymous app user ID
Purchase transaction data (handled by Google Play — we never see your payment details)
Subscription status

Google Play Billing

All payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card details.

Firebase Analytics

Firebase Analytics, operated by Google LLC, collects anonymous usage data to help us understand how the App is used (e.g. levels started/completed, hints used, screens viewed). No user ID is attached to this data — we explicitly disable user ID linking. Firebase Analytics' data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

4. How We Use Information

The anonymous UUID and locally stored data are used solely to save your game progress, track your coin balance and hint usage, and verify your subscription status. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Legitimate interest — providing core app functionality
Consent — for personalized advertising via AdMob (you may opt out at any time)
Contract performance — processing your purchase to grant access

6. Data Retention

Game data stored locally is retained until you uninstall the App or clear app data. We do not retain data on our servers. Third-party services retain data per their own policies.

7. Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States by Google (AdMob, Firebase Analytics) and RevenueCat. These companies provide appropriate safeguards under GDPR Article 46.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. For users in the EU, the App is not directed to children under 16.

9. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. Since all game data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise most rights directly by clearing app data or uninstalling the App.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect locally stored data. Since we do not operate servers or transmit personal data ourselves, the primary security responsibility lies with third-party providers who maintain industry-standard practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
